Aamco of Canton has a great staff who are honest and caring. They gave me an estimate based on what another shop's diagnosis of my van that was $300 less and then only had to do a small part of it to fix the leak. So instead of $800 at another shop it was less than $150. I will be bringing it back to get the motor mounts fixed.

Always kind and always perfect
Had a leaking seal on my transfer case and the rear engine seal also leaking on my 81 Ford F150. All work completed on time, no more leaks and very reasonable price for the work done. I have used them several times and I am confident of their work quality.
We brought our 4-runner in there for a shaking transmission and a 4 wheel problem. They fixed both in a couple of days for a reasonable price. They were very friendly as well. I'll bring my Trooper there next and update after that visit.

Mr. Gus and his staff diagnosed and explained the problem, gave me the estimated costs and fixed it the same day. They were courteous, professional and knowledgeable and the cost was reasonable.

The transmission on our 07 Ford Edge(approximately 165k miles) started slipping between 35 and 45 miles per hour. I spoke to my local repair shop(who I trust very much) and they recommended this Aamco transmission. They said we needed a new transmission and they gave us a quote on a remanufactured transmission. I had been to the dealership before for a this problem and they could not fix it. Because of some health issues I couldn't run all over town getting second opinions but I did make some calls and their quote and guarantee were extremely good! The office person(Clara) was very pleasant, helpful and answered all our questions. Within a few days they had the work done and it has been over a month now and so far the transmission is performing perfectly! Getting a new transmission is not fun but Clara and Aamco made it as painless as possible!
I am also grateful they got it done so quick!

The entire staff was phenomenal! Mo the office manager was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable as was Clara Mae (the owner I think). I ended up spending the day waiting on my repairs and they made me feel very comfortable and welcome. Also, they both in conjunction with my service tech kept me informed every step of the way with the repairs on my vehicle. They really know their stuff!!! And finally after months of car trouble the problem was pinpointed and fixed. They were fabulous!!!!
Gus and Clara Mae are very honest and you don't find that in an auto mechanic much anymore. They never disappoint me with my old truck. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone.

Amazing! From the moment you call to the moment you receive your car back, the staff is super welcoming and friendly. It’s the first time I have taken my car to this place for a car repair. I took my car in because it was making a loud noise when I would move the steering wheel. Mike explained to me in depth was wrong with it and guaranteed they could fix it and that is exactly what they did! I am super happy with the result of my car. Mike, Gil and Yaksi went above and beyond to make my experience here as nice as possible. I would 100% recommend the Canton AAMCO location!
They put a Transmission in my 2009 GMC truck . It went out on me Friday February 2nd. 2024. It was under Warranty. The truck was towed back to them. They had to wait until the people sent them a transmission to replace the one under warranty. Mike kept in constant contact with me about what was going on and when the transmission would possibly be replaced. He called me regularly. ( damn near everyday). My truck needed extra work done. He explained to me about the cost of the main seal having to be replaced and the cost. I asked him to replace the fly wheel. He called me and explained the cost for replacing the flywheel as well as the starter. Mind you I called him sometime. However I didn’t have to . He promised me he was going to keep me updated on the repairs AND HE DID JUST THAT. I had the prevolidge of speaking to the owner and he was nice as well. He went over my file thoroughly and reexplained everything to me. All the knocks and clinks that was going on under my truck was all totally resulted and TRUST ME THEY RESPECTED ME , mMY TIME AND MY CONCERN AS TO WHEN MY TRUCK WOULD BE READY. I got to the shop and my truck was ready. I was short on the money I needed for the starter. Mike went in his pocket and paid the difference so that I could take my truck home. They did outstanding work on my truck. It rides smooth and quiet. I will recommend them above all shops. They kept their word on when my truck would be ready and it was ready a few days earlier. Yes Mike said Friday the 16th. It was ready in Wendsday the 14 th of February. I was extremely happy for the work they and the time frame in which they did it.
